So, I've been thinking about dyeing roving, and I asked the yarn rep what was available, and got a little sample. It's Corriedale roving, very fluffy and easy to spin. They sent a strip a little over 15g and I dyed it up yesterday:


There's no black dye in this fiber, it's just really dark black cherry colored. I'm test driving it on my drop spindle which I haven't used in something like 4 years.

Yeah, it's convinced me to do it. Not sure what increments I'll be selling in, but I ordered 4 pounds of fiber. *facepalm*
